Monday-

It’s a new week to do what you have been putting off!
Drink strong ass coffee, stay focused and positive, don’t sweat the small stuff, make certain that you’re wearing pants and remember, stabbing people is wrong (you’re welcome). Happy Monday 💜

I began the morning with coffee, followed with breakfast: Oats mixed with protein powder topped with nut butter and a side of orange slices🍊

While getting ready for the gym I decided to take a couple of snips showcasing my current physique. A little Thick & Juicy 🍑 and I am completely comfortable with it.

I hope that my followers realize that this is a competitors bulk body. While it is feasible to remain at a 12-13% body fat range year round, muscle mass cannot be added without an overall caloric increase. It took me many years of self saboteur to realize in order to reach the physique I desired, it meant adding a bit of fat during my “off season” from the stage. I highlight “off season” because there technically is no such thing. All year round my goal is to improve. This applies to my aesthetics, mentally and spiritually. Each day is working toward improvements. From the 16 weeks leading up to a show and the 6-8 weeks post show while reversing into maintenance, I consider that my “on season.” The rest of the year I don’t allow myself a “screw it” mentality. I am meticulously following a training regimen that will allow my body improvements while tracking my macro range to accommodate slow and structured gains. The last 6-8 weeks of the year I follow what I call, “loose tracking.” It is the only time of the year that you won’t see me in the gym writing down each rep scheme and the total pounds lifted. I give myself a break from macro tracking as well. I stick to whole foods and and grains that sit high on the list of unprocessed carbohydrates.
 This phase of my training allows me to fluctuate within a range of 5 pounds and I don’t beat myself up over it. It gives me a break mentally, which in my opinion is most important phase of a competitors program.
For me, this approach allows me to live a well-balanced lifestyle all year round. Its my lifestyle, period.

After lunch I had to go to the dentist for my final appointment. I got fitted for a final retainer tray that I am required to wear at night to make certain these big ole chicklets don’t shift back 😁

Other than the gym and the dentist, I didn’t leave the hotel today. I checked in with clients and the rest of this cold and rainy day was spent piled up watching youtube and netflix.
